HOUND ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2009

I was delighted to represent Our Dogs at this year's prestigious Hound Association championship show in Stafford on 1st August.

As a hound owner and enthusiast, it was a real privilege to photograph the country's top hounds. I also had the chance to work alongside the legendary Carol Ann Johnson who was shooting on behalf of Dog World. She was very patient and helpful towards the 'new girl', which was very much appreciated.

AND, the icing on the cake - a whippet took Best in Show (Roger Stock & Patsy Gilmour's top winning bitch, CH COURTHILL CAST A SHADOW)

Unfortunately, the weather was atrocious, and all the judging had to take place indoors. The exception to this was the Parade of Working Hounds, which took place in the pouring rain. It is fantastic to see these working packs on show.
